Quality Foods, an iconic piece of Island heritage since the day it opened its doors of their first location in Qualicum Beach in 1982 wanted to create something special with their new flagship location in east Parksville. Along with progressive health & safety infrastructure like far-UV sanitization of shopping carts, they wanted to create a space for the community to come together and enjoy company and food. They turned to the talented Jeremy Larson, designer/owner of C.A Design Studio (also from Qualicum Beach) for a concept for the "UPstairs Food + Drink Patio space. 

Jeremy found our Chess collection's hand-drawn geometrics to have the perfect mix of modern and personal detail for the island community space. The overall white palette and clean glaze became the perfect backdrop for the vintage leather, clean woods and plants to make the space feel approachable and homey. Long-time Centanni Tile dealer serving the Islands, Dave from Cornerstone Tile handled the local supply and Parksville has a new hub to welcome generations.
