About the Role We’re currently seeking an Independent Sales Agent to represent Centanni Tile across Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane, Canmore, Banff, Red Deer, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat. This is a commission-based agency relationship, not an employee position—ideal for someone who already represents other non-competing lines into the design-build, architectural, and new-construction community and wants to add a proven, established tile line to their portfolio. You’ll be our on-the-ground ambassador, developing strong relationships and driving specifications through architectural and design firms, design-build companies, and custom home builders. All product ships directly from our Burnaby, BC head office—there is no regional warehouse in Alberta, so factoring shipping lead time into project conversations is part of the job.

Your Mission: To connect, inspire, and grow—by introducing our products, building deep client relationships, and supporting design projects with exceptional service, with a focus on higher-volume project work through design-build firms, specifiers, and interior designers—we do not sell through dealers.

Responsibilities:

• Service and grow a client base across Calgary, Red Deer, and the wider Southern Alberta region.

• Call on architectural and design firms, design-build companies, and custom home builders to promote and educate about our tile products.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through excellent service and follow-up.

• Identify and flag larger, higher-volume project opportunities within the territory.

• Get our samples and collections placed in design libraries.

• Conduct product knowledge sessions, showcasing new collections and services.

• Maintain regular communication with the internal team and provide market feedback—quoting and order fulfillment are handled by our Burnaby head office, so your focus stays on relationships and specification, not paperwork.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is genuinely passionate about design and architecture.

• Loves meeting new people and helping them bring their projects to life.

• Believes “good enough” is never good enough.

• Enjoys working independently and spending time on the road.

• Understands that project-based, specification-driven sales run on a longer cycle, and is patient enough to nurture a relationship from first introduction through to a specified project.

Ideal Experience and Attributes:

• 3+ years of experience representing building or design products into the architectural, design-build, or custom home building community (tile or surface material experience is a plus).

• Currently represents one or more complementary, non-competing lines in the building products, fixtures, or finishes space.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organizational and territory management skills.

• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and drive.

• Comfortable transporting 30–60 lbs of samples as needed.

• Based in or near Calgary, with the ability to cover the wider Southern Alberta region.

• Valid Alberta driver’s license.
